The Beyond Elevated Show - Week 15 Recap

Robert Wilson

Don't miss host Robert Wilson and special guest Ryan Lillis as they look closely at week 15 of the NFL Football Season on The Beyond Elevated Show. The intensity is rising quickly with the upcoming playoffs, and teams are working hard to secure their positions before what promises to be an electrifying postseason.

Initially, Ryan and Robert debate the San Francisco 49ers' victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Prime. Ryan is confident that San Francisco is a top-tier team within the NFC with deep postseason aspirations; however, Robert remains unconvinced despite quarterback Brock Purdy now owning three wins and their defensive line exhibiting some of its best play this season. The Minnesota Vikings broke NFL history in Saturday's opening game. While their achievement should undoubtedly be praised, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Ryan may have had a sense of deja vu as his team lost an astonishing 33-point lead. Also on the Beyond Elevated Show, Robert Wilson outlines how the last four years have panned out for the Colts and why their attempts to use free agent money on mid-level QBs from other teams have been unsuccessful. He argues that they need to start fresh by drafting a new quarterback.

On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs secured the AFC West after a thrilling overtime win against Houston. Unfortunately for Dallas Cowboys fans, their team could not claim a place in the playoffs despite going into OT with Jacksonville. However, Detroit Lions supporters can take solace in knowing that victories over NY Jets kept their team's postseason dreams alive!

After enduring a heart-wrenching defeat to the Los Angeles Rams during Week 14, the Las Vegas Raiders regrouped and put together an all-encompassing squad victory against a formidable New England Patriots. Despite almost surrendering another double-digit lead, they recovered in time due to Derek Carr's 30-yard touchdown pass to wideout Keelan Cole and Chandler Jones' 48-yard fumble return on the game's final play. Ultimately this resulted in their triumphant win of 30 points over 24. Ryan Lillis agrees with Robert Wilson that after seeing this play, it may be time for Bill Belichick to retire because the Patriots don't seem as disciplined as they have in previous years.

Deshaun Watson got his first home win for the Cleveland Brown, beating the Baltimore Ravens; keep in mind the Ravens did not have Lamar Jackson. Although Watson's stats weren't extraordinary, this development still signaled a substantial evolution in his performance as he acclimated to the Browns' offensive system.
