The Beyond Elevated Show- Week Eight NFL Predictions
Welcome back to The Beyond Elevated Show. This week we'll cover everything happening in Week Eight of the NFL season. Join host Robert Wilson, with Percy Jones, Nick Hultquist, and Rich Graham, as they debate all the upcoming matchups. Some of the games they'll discuss are Baltimore vs Tampa Bay, San Francisco vs Los Angeles, and New England vs the New York Jets. Rich makes surprising picks and sticks by believing that the Cleveland Browns are still a playoff team. Nick shares his thoughts on being a coach and how benching players destroy confidence, and Robert thinks Percy is crazy thinking that the Las Vegas Raiders can still go to the playoffs.
If you've been banking on teams like Green Bay and their quarterback Aaron Rodgers, or Tampa Bay and Tom Brady to turn their seasons around, it might be time to rethink that strategy. Similarly, now might be the time to start believing in some teams and quarterbacks who didn't have much history before the season started. The Seahawks are in the first place, but they'll need to keep winning if they want to stay there. The Giants are 6-1, and while they're not the favorite to win the Super Bowl anymore, they're still a force to be reckoned with. Geno Smith and the Chiefs are quietly 5-2 after an impressive victory over San Francisco on the road. So far this season, there is an abundance of mediocre teams because only seven out of thirty-two have five or more wins. This makes sense considering three of those winnings teams have played one fewer game than the rest. Essentially, we are seeing precisely what Pete Rozelle would've wanted when he was alive and serving as the NFL Commissioner. Week 8 will feature major games, including Tampa Bay vs. Baltimore on Thursday and Seattle vs. New York on Sunday. These matchups look like they could be real barn burners.
As always, tune in for an informative and entertaining show!
